We have had a couple of excellent candidates indicate their willingness to serve on the Board from our email of last week, and I just wanted to bring you up to date today, and make another request for your help.

There are 3 Board seats open at Mesquite this Winter. This is going to be the most important election at Mesquite for the next 5 years. What we do during this election will determine whether we regress to the old ways of doing business in the dark and without owner imput, or clean up our finances and again let owners determine how they wish to see Mesquite run.

We need all of your help in the following areas:

1. If you can serve on the Board for the next 2 years please let us know now. You don't have to live at Mesquite full time, and it only requires about 10 meetings a year.

2. If you know of any friend or neighbor who is not on our Internet list, please have them send us their email address TODAY. Each mailing that we do costs us $300-400.00. If we want to continue to communicate among owners email is by far the best means of doing so.

3. We need your help to prepare for the elections. Our goal is to make each owner at Mesquite aware of the differences between the candidates and the importance of the outcome of this election. If you are going to be in Palm Springs in December, January, or February please let us know and help us get out our message.

After 2 years of talking and working, now is our chance to restructure the way we do business at Mesquite.

We have no one to blame but ourselves if we miss this opportunity.
